Jannik Sinner heads a five-strong Italian contingent in the ATP Cincinnati Masters 1000 entry list, with the tournament scheduled to run from August 13 to 23 on the hard courts of Ohio.
Sinner is seeded first for the final Masters 1000 before the US Open, joined by Flavio Cobolli (seeded ninth), Lorenzo Musetti (14th), Luciano Darderi (18th), Matteo Arnaldi (34th) and Matteo Berrettini (43rd). Lorenzo Sonego and Mattia Bellucci are listed as alternates and could still gain entry if any main-draw spots open up before the tournament begins. The entry list was announced on July 16 and features a 96-player draw, making it one of the most competitive events on the summer hard-court swing.
Carlos Alcaraz is seeded third amid reports he could return from his wrist injury in Cincinnati after missing the French Open and Wimbledon. Novak Djokovic is seeded seventh, with Daniil Medvedev eighth. Felix Auger-Aliassime is seeded fourth and Alex de Minaur fifth, while Taylor Fritz is seeded tenth and Ben Shelton sixth. Frances Tiafoe rounds out the top 20 seeds at 17th. Holger Rune shares the 14th seeding position with Musetti via a protected ranking.
