Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step) won stage 12 of the 2026 Tour de France, the 179.1 km Circuit Nevers Magny-Cours > Chalon-sur-Saône flat stage raced on July 16. For the Belgian rider it is his second Tour stage win.
Merlier out-sprinted the bunch on a finish suited to the sprinters, confirming himself as one of the most feared trains on the flat days of the French tour.
