Belgium forward Leandro Trossard has joined Turkish side Besiktas from Arsenal on a three-year contract. The 31-year-old was signed for 18m euros (£15.3m), payable in six equal instalments over three years, with his deal also including a further one-year option.
The agreement between the two clubs was reached on Tuesday 14 July, when Trossard was given permission to travel to Istanbul to undergo a medical. He was under contract with Arsenal until 2027, having joined from Brighton for £21m plus add-ons in January 2023.
In 174 appearances for the Gunners, Trossard scored 36 goals and provided 34 assists, helping Mikel Arteta's side win last season's Premier League title. He also started all six of Belgium's matches at this summer's World Cup, scoring twice before the Red Devils were knocked out by Spain in the quarter-finals.
