Venezia have completed the signing of Akor Adams from Sevilla for €17 million plus bonuses, making the Nigeria international the most expensive acquisition in the newly-promoted Serie A club's history.
According to [Football Italia](https://football-italia.net/official-venezia-break-club-record-adams/), citing TuttoMercatoWeb, the former Sevilla striker arrived in the lagoon city and, after completing his medical, signed a four-year contract worth €1.5 million per season — an unprecedented fee for a club that won promotion back to Serie A last season.
Adams, a natural right-footer with an imposing physique and a keen eye for goal, made his name in La Liga after joining Sevilla from Montpellier in January 2025. He finished last season with 10 goals and three assists across 36 appearances between starts and substitute outings.
