The five-time All-Star and four-time EuroLeague champion finished with a career-high 43 points, hitting 10 of 14 attempts from beyond the arc and 16 of 21 from the field overall. The record-breaking triple dropped with 2:23 left in the fourth quarter, stretching the Lynx lead to 98-83, and McBride left the floor to a roaring ovation with 1:21 remaining.
The previous single-game mark of nine threes had been matched eight times across WNBA history, including twice this season by Toronto's Marina Mabrey within a six-day span in June. McBride now stands alone at 10, and her barrage also lifted Minnesota to a franchise record for three-pointers in a game as the league-leading Lynx improved to 27-7.
Minnesota's scoring surge has been relentless: the Lynx have topped 100 points in four of their last six games, following Saturday's 11-point victory over defending champions Las Vegas.
