Sonepar Padova has officially signed Brazilian outside hitter Leonardo Lukas, born in 2002. The player leaves Guarulhos and moves to the Veneto region for his first experience outside Brazil.
A product of the Guarulhos academy, Lukas is regarded as one of the emerging talents of Brazilian volleyball and, in recent weeks, has entered the radar of the Brazilian national team coached by Bernardinho. For Padova, the move adds quality and long-term upside to the outside hitter unit ahead of the SuperLega season.
The white-and-blue club has thus completed another piece of its summer market, tasking the 23-year-old (he turns 24 in 2026) with testing himself against the level of the Italian championship at the Kioene Arena.
