Fenerbahce have officially completed their first signing of the 2026 offseason, announcing the arrival of American guard Trent Forrest from Baskonia. Although the deal had reportedly been agreed as early as the end of April, the Turkish club waited until now to make the transfer official.
Forrest spent the last two seasons with Baskonia, establishing himself as one of the EuroLeague's most reliable two-way guards. In the 2025/26 campaign he played 27 EuroLeague games, averaging 10.9 points, 4.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds. In Liga Endesa he posted 13.8 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds across 26 appearances.
The 28-year-old also celebrated the first trophy of his professional career this season, as Baskonia lifted the Copa del Rey, with Forrest earning Copa del Rey MVP honors.
